What do repetitive tasks really cost you?

IN SHORT

Enter your repetitive tasks, how long they take and how often they happen. The calculator shows the hours and money they cost you each month and year, and how much time automation could free up at the share you choose. All figures come from your own inputs.

How it works

How the savings are calculated

The calculator uses only the numbers you enter, so you can check every figure.

01

Time per month

Minutes per task × how often it happens, converted to a month. Daily tasks use your working days per week.

02

Cost

Hours × the hourly cost you enter. Include wages plus overheads for a fuller picture.

03

Time freed

Hours per year × the share you think could be automated. It is time your team could spend on higher-value work.

FAQ

Automation savings: common questions

Still have a question? Ask our AI assistant or book a call.

How do I calculate the cost of a repetitive task?
Multiply the time the task takes by how often it happens to get hours per month, then multiply by the hourly cost of the people doing it. This calculator does that for several tasks at once.
Which tasks are good candidates for automation?
Tasks that happen often, follow clear rules and move information between systems, such as copying enquiries into a CRM, sending follow-ups, building routine reports or answering common questions.
What share of a task can really be automated?
It depends on the task. Rule-based steps can often be automated almost fully, while tasks that need judgement usually keep a person in the loop. Use the slider to test different scenarios.
Is this the same as return on investment?
Not quite. It shows the value of time that could be freed. A full ROI also includes the cost of building and running the automation, which we estimate after a free strategy call.
Do you store what I enter?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser. Your results are only sent if you use the optional form.
